Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

 

1 can cream of chicken soup (10 oz)

1/2 packet onion soup mix

3 teaspoons garlic, crushed or finely chopped

1 chicken stock cube

1/2-3/4 cup warm water

1 1/2 tablespoons Basil

1 cup chopped onion

chicken breast diced (2.2 lbs)

1/4 cup cream cheese

1/4 cup sour cream  

Put diced chicken breast in slow cooker.  Top with chopped onions.

In a separate bowl, combine remaining ingredients, except for the cream cheese and sour cream.

  Pour soup mixture on top of chicken and onions.  Stir. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hrs.

In the last 15 minutes of cooking, add the cream cheese and sour cream; stir well to combine.  

Serve over noodles
