Sloppy Joe Turnovers  

 

1 lb lean ground beef 

1/4 C chopped onion 

1/2 tsp salt, or to taste 

1/4 tsp garlic powder 

1/2 C ketchup 

1/4 C dairy sour cream 

1 can (10 oz) Hungry Jack refrigerated flaky biscuits 

 

In large skillet, brown ground beef and onion; drain. Add salt, garlic powder, ketchup and sour cream; mix well. Separate dough into ten biscuits. On ungreased cookie sheet, press or roll each biscuit to a 4x4" square. Place about 1/4 cup meat mixture in center of square to form a triangle; seal edges with fork. Cut three 1/2-inch slits on top of each. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown. Brush with melted butter, if desired. Makes ten sandwiches.
