Pork Chops and Stuffing

 

 

Ingredients

4 pork chops

3 cups soft bread cubes

2 tbsp. chopped onion

1/4 cup melted butter

1/4 cup water + 1/3 cup divided

1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning

(I also add a little sage and some pepper)

1 can cream of mushroom soup

 

Directions

Brown chops on both sides; drain. Lightly mix bread cubes, onion, 1/4 cup water, melted butter and seasonings.

Place a mound of stuffing on each chop. blend soup with the other 1/3 cup water; Pour over and bake at 350 for 1 hour, uncovered.

Makes delicious gravy for over mashed potatoes or steamed rice.

 Serves 4.
