Hamburger Meatballs with Gravy

 

2 lbs. hamburger, I will use 90% fat free meat

2 teaspoon salt, I will use about 1/2 to 1 teaspoon

dash pepper

3 sliced of bread

1/4 cup water, I will use 1/4 cup milk

 

Mix all ingredients well. Make into balls, any size. Brown in small amount of fat, I will use vegetable oil. Put in baking dish in 375º oven for about 30 minutes.

 

Gravy For Meatballs

 

Drippings from meatballs

2 heaping tablespoons flour

2 cups milk, I will use beef stock

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon pepper

Brown slightly 2 heaping tablespoons of flour in drippings, when hamburger was fried, or baked. Add milk, I will use beef stock, salt and pepper. Cook until thick. Pour over meatballs. Serve with homemade biscuits. Good.
