Crock Pot Pork Chops

2 C chopped onion
4 bone-in pork chops
21.5 oz condensed cream of mushroom soup (2 cans)
16 oz sliced fresh mushrooms
1/4 tsp black pepper
fresh dill for garnish (optional)

Place the chopped onion in the bottom of the slow cooker. Add the pork chops on top of the onion (it is fine if you need to overlap them to fit) and sprinkle with the pepper. Add the mushrooms on top of the pork chops. Spread the soup over the mushrooms. Cook on low five to six hours. Remove the pork chops and stir sauce before serving. Serve over rice or noodles. Garnish with fresh dill if desired.
