Bonanza Khoefla (Potato Dumpling)

(You will need 2 cartons of ½ & ½)

 

Dumplings:

9 eggs

1 cup ½ & ½

5-6 cups flour

Salt-approx. 1 t.

Mix together in your mixer or a blender

 

3 1/3 quart water

4 Tablespoons butter

5-6 potatoes, diced

2 bay leaves

1 t. black pepper

½-3/4 jar of chicken boulionn (granular)

Peel and dice potates, boil in water.  Don’t drain! Add butter, pepper, bay leaves and  chicken base.  Drop dumplings by small teaspoonfuls into boiling potatoe mixture.  Cook until done.  Turn off heat.  Add 3 cups ½ & ½.  Don’t boil after adding  ½ & ½.
