Bohemian Goulash

 

3 cups beef, stew meat works well or cut up roast

½ cup celery

Salt to taste

¼ cup mixed spices (Put in tea holder or cheesecloth)

1 bottle ketchup

1 onion, chopped

10 ginger snaps

1 Tablespoon chili powder

¾ teaspoon paprika

Cut up beef.  Add celery, salt and spices.  Let boil until meat is done. 

Removed bag of mixed spices. Add ketchup and onion. 

Soak ginger snaps before adding to soup.  Add chili powder and paprika.
