Baked Macaroni and Cheese

 

 

8 oz. elbow macaroni, cooked & drained

1 tsp. butter, very soft

1 egg, beaten

1 tsp. salt

Pepper, to taste

 1 tsp. dry mustard

1 tbsp. hot water

1 cup milk

3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

 

Directions

Stir butter and beaten egg into cooked hot macaroni. Mix mustard, salt and pepper in hot water and add to milk. Add 2 cups of the cheese to the macaroni and put into a buttered casserole dish; add milk mixture and stir in. Sprinkle with remaining 1 cup shredded cheese. Bake at 350 about 45 minutes, until top is crusty and set.
