Pickled Beets

1-2 cans of sliced store bought beets

drain add to a quart canning jar

1 tsp of pickling spice

1 1/4 cup of white vinegar

1/2 cup of white sugar

1/2 cup water

put all in jar

add lid

shake

and refrigerate for about 2 days
