Pumpkin Pie

Makes 2 -9” deep shell pies

3 eggs

2 ¾ cup pumpkin

½ cup brown sugar

½ cup sugar

¾ teaspoon salt

1 ½ teaspoon cinnamon

¾ teaspoon ginger

½ teaspoon cloves

2 ¼ cup evaporated milk

Beat eggs then add pumpkin and sugar.  Beat.  Add salt, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves.  Beat then slowly, add the evaporated milk.  Pour into 2 pie crusts.

Bake at 425 degree oven for 15 minutes, then bake 350 degrees for 55 minutes. 

This was my grandmother’s recipe.  Excellent.
