Pistachio Bread

1 package yellow cake mix

4 eggs

¼ cup oil

1-4oz. pkg. instant Pistachio pudding

1/8 cup water

1 cup sour cream

1 cup halved maraschino cherries

½ cup chopped nuts (optional)

Stir cake mix and pudding together.  Combine all ingredients, stirring well.  Grease or spray 2 loaf pans, pour half of mixture into each.

Combine ¼ cup sugar and 2 Tablespoons cinnamon, sprinkle over mixture in each pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until a knife/toothpick comes out clean.  Cool.  Can freeze

**Makes nice Christmas gifts if put in little loaf pans, as the pistachio pudding and maraschino cherries make it red and green.  Wrap it in glad wrap and tie with a ribbon.
