Peanut Butter Cupcakes

Ingredients

1/3 c. shortening

1 c. brown sugar

1/2 c. peanut butter

 2 eggs, beaten

1/2 c.  sugar

2 c. flour

1/2 tsp. salt

2-1/2 tsp. baking powder

3/4 c. milk

1 tsp. vanilla

 

Directions

 Thoroughly cream shortening and 1 cup sugar. Add peanut butter, mix well. Add eggs beaten with remaining 1/2 cup sugar. Add sifted ingredients alternately with milk and vanilla extract. Fill greased cup cake pans 1/2 full. Bake in 350 degree oven for 25 minutes.

Makes 24 cup cakes.
