Apple Dumpling Cobbler

 

2 pie crusts

3 cups peeled and chopped apples (Golden Delicious)

1 1/2 cups sugar

1 cup water

1/2 stick of butter

sprinkles of cinnamon

 

Cut stripes of one of the pie crust and place in greased long baking dish. Place chopped apples on top sprinkles with 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon. Cut second pie crust and place on top of apples. In the mean time boil 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar and ½ stick butter till boiling stage.

 

Pour this over the cobbler and bake in 350 oven for 1 hours and 10 minutes serve with ice cream.
